Only 20 minutes drive from Alnwick, home to the Duke of Northumberland, visit Alnwick Castle, Gardens, Museum and the Famous "Barter Books" second hand Bookshop. Or leave the car behind for the day and walk a circular route along the Coastal paths to Embleton, Dunstanburgh Castle and on to Craster - home of the famous Craster Kippers !
